Specialized Support

- Emotional & Mood Regulation: Helping children process and manage anxiety, depressive symptoms, and intense emotional expressions.
- Behavioral Obstacles: Working through disruptive or aggressive actions such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder and Intermittent Explosive Disorder.
- Neurodevelopmental Differences: Creating strategies for children with ADHD, Autism (ASD), and learning challenges.
- Trauma & Life Transitions: Navigating complex family dynamics, trauma, attachment struggles, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Adjustment Disorders.
How She Works With Families
A child’s progress thrives when backed by a strong foundation at home. Ashley structures her care around three core pillars:
- Child-Centered Strategy: Respecting the unique pacing, personality, and specific needs of each individual child and family unit.
- Family Engagement: Partnering closely with the family system, offering individual therapy alongside essential caregiver tools and psychoeducation.
- Holistic Wraparound Services: Collaborating directly with schools and community providers to ensure your child has seamless support everywhere they go.
Outside of counseling, Ashley loves animals and spending time with family. She is a big sports fan who watches the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals and the Indiana Fever whenever she can.
